The on-court high from a superb season of tennis was reflected in the atmosphere of our Annual Dinner and Presentation evening, held for the third consecutive year in the splendid marquee at Seaford College with around 90 players and their friends in attendance.
After a fine meal Club President Chris Major took the microphone to thank the staff at the College for their excellent service, and praised Sian Green and Emma Amin for all their hard work in organizing the evening.
Chris went on to compliment our players on a superb effort in topping three East Hants League divisions, with the Ladies A Squad gaining a deserved promotion to Division 1. He thanked David Sanders for organizing another successful Tournament, before handing over to David and myself for presentation of the trophies.
The evening of musical entertainment commenced with the Seaford College Swing Band a talented group of young musicians, followed by an accomplished DJ who ensured there was no let up on the dance floor as all generations danced, rocked, and jived away the evening until the clock chimed twelve, bringing down the curtain on a fabulous season for our Great Club!
