UNSUPERVISED USE OF THE PAVILION BY CHILDREN

Graffham Tennis Club

Dear Members,

UNSUPERVISED USE OF THE PAVILION BY CHILDREN

I have been informed by the Recreation Ground Committee that the code to the main “Club Room” in the pavilion will be changed. This is due to complaints we have received from users of the Pavilion about the unsupervised use of the “club room” by children who are using it as a playroom. It has to be said that this mostly happens during tennis coaching sessions, but I myself have come across it at other times. Richard Hopp is there to coach tennis, not to supervise a crèche.

I would therefore reiterate 2 simple rules:

1.       Parents should not leave their children unsupervised during coaching or give their children the code to the Club Room and leave them unsupervised (the loos can still be accessed by the main “East” door which is usually open)

2.       Parents should always make sure the Pavilion is tidy before they leave.

We are fortunate to have a superb facility in the Pavilion. Please can every member ensure that it is kept as such.

The code will be available from any Committee Members of the Recreation Ground Committee or the Tennis Club Committee, and Richard Hopp.
